Namek is the founder and Managing Director of Silicon Badia Global Partners LLC; a US-based accelerator program and technology transfer fund focused on bridging the US and MENA region startup & venture capital technology ecosystems. Prior to this, Zu’bi was a Founding Principal at a macro opportunistic fund based in NYC, where the main focusing was on early stage venture capital investments in the software, digital media, mobile and internet spaces.
Zu’bi started his career on Wall Street; where he worked at Deutsche Bank AG, UBS AG, and along with other firms in the telecommunications and agricultural sectors. Also, he is the founder and President of the Middle East Technology Pioneers Exchange (METPE); which is a non-profit organization focused mainly on connecting technology pioneers from the Middle East to the world. Namek graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors and a distinction from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Information Systems with additional concentrations in Business Administration in addition to the Spanish language.
